Hi Dawn,

Give the Cannon Large-Format series a try:
Large-Format Printers
Canon BJ-W7000
Canon BJ-W9000

Both are affordable starts...provided that the docs you reference below are
maps, design docs, and plan diagrams.
Let me know if you are looking to go nuts w/ higher dpi color, then the
options change dramatically.
