SIGIA-L: Post re. nielsen mantras

Apologies for bothering you all with this but I searched to no avail in the
archives. This week or last, there was a great posting about some Nielsen
guidelines.

As the author explained, Nielsen simplifies his ideas to get them across to
large audiences, but they're actually from broader, well-thought-out
constructs.

One example was that there should never be more than seven links on any
given page - which, translated, means that information should be presented
hierarchically and users should have a good idea of where to go rather than
having to choose from a myriad of equal-level items.

If any of you recall this posting, would you mind sending it to me? I'd like
to share it with some non-UI co-workers who have been quoting Nielsen as if
he's the final word.

Thanks very much,
-Rebecca
