I teach an IA class at Pratt Institute. It is offered in the
undergraduate communication design department, which offers degrees in
Illustration, Art Direction and Graphic Design.
The class is a whole lot more about the information design / HCI
aspects of IA, and a lot less about the ILS aspects of the profession.
It's a course designed to sensitize graphic designers to issues of
usability and information retrieval.
I wrote about it in B&A a while back.

(the course is 2 years old, and their site is not updated yet ..
::sigh:: )
