Hi Laurie,

On this aside: I believe that BABOK will have a long hard road because
of the diversity of the audience - the financial business analysts do
not have a history of agreeing to the same success criteria as the
technical BAs, who have a history of methodological holy wars within
themselves. I do have to admit that I'm no expert on this - just what
I pick up talking to people who are interested in some form of BA
certification.

And if I could counter-devil, because if there was a IABOK it would be
a good thing: can you name a single thing that everyone on this list
could agree should go into the IABOK? Can anyone else? Can we agree on
a common point that is specific enough to be useful, yet widely
acceptable?
